Try out archery at one of our fun taster sessions – no experience needed

Thinking of doing an Archery beginners course – but not sure if you will enjoy it? Then why not come to one of our “taster” sessions. These sessions will enable you to try archery using club loaned equipment (beginners bows etc) for a 2 hour session for £20 per person.

These can be arranged for 2-4 people (aged 8 to 80+) on a date and time that is mutually convenient – normally a Wednesday or Saturday afternoon – and is by arrangement with the club training officer (see below).

So, if you and a friend want to “have a go” with no obligation – then we can arrange this for you.

After the session if you want to join a full beginner’s course then a discount can be arranged to recognise the experience you have gained on the “taster session” – depending on the course availability at the time.

These events can take place between the April and September

About our coaches

All our archery coaches and course assistants are experienced archers who can help beginner archers to advance at a comfortable pace and get the most from their experience.

Our coaches and assistants are DBS checked and meet Archery GB’s best practice guidance for safeguarding and training. For this reason, all children and young persons under 18 are accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout any course.
