We are a friendly target archery club located in Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex.
We have outdoor shooting facilities that are available every day, except Mondays.
We also use an indoor range during the winter, where we shoot on Saturday afternoons.
All styles of archery are welcome at the club: Recurve, Longbow, Compound etc. and
we have many experienced members who will help archers of all standards to improve.
About our Club
Spelthorne Archers was formed in 1985 by a group of 60 people from another club looking for a more secure ground.
We shot at Spelthorne Sports Club in Ashford Common for 9 years and moved to our present location in Sunbury in 1994 where we have exclusive use of a shooting range.
At this location we have outdoor shooting facilities that are available every day except Mondays, which allows us to shoot all the distances for both imperial and metric rounds.
We also are fortunate to have use of an indoor range during the winter, where we are able to shoot on Saturday afternoons.
We have hosted Regional and County matches and County indoor championships at our venue.
Other local clubs are invited, from time to time, to come and join us for some friendly competition and we also compete in the National and County postal leagues.

Outdoor range
The range is located in the field connected to the BP Lakeside car park,
The entrance can be found opposite the Meadhurst Club on Chertsey Road, Sunbury on Thames, TW16 7LN (the carpark gate is the turning closest to junction)
Indoor Range
We shoot indoors during the winter at the Meadhurst Club (as above) on Saturday afternoons.
